Serifio: Font & Colour Inspector is a browser extension that identifies fonts, copies colour codes and checks WCAG contrast ratios on web pages. This policy explains what data Serifio handles and how.
None. Serifio does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The extension makes zero network requests and contains no analytics, telemetry or tracking of any kind.
Serifio stores two pieces of information using Chrome's built-in sync storage:
Extension toggle — whether the extension is enabled or disabled (a single true/false value).
Panel positions — the position of the inspector panel on up to 50 recently visited domains, so it appears where you last placed it. Only the domain name and panel coordinates are stored. This list is automatically pruned to stay within Chrome's storage limits.
This data syncs across your Chrome browsers if you are signed in to Chrome. It is never sent anywhere else.
Serifio can write to your clipboard when you click a colour value or contrast ratio in the panel. It never reads your clipboard.
Serifio requires access to all websites because it needs to inspect font and colour properties on any page you visit. The extension only activates when you select text and does not modify page content.
Serifio uses no third-party libraries, services or APIs. All code runs locally in your browser.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
